Jeffrey S. Davis is the chairman and founder of Mage, LLC, a firm that provides business consulting and strategy advice to entrepreneurs and family businesses. For more than 26 years, Davis has been instrumental to entrepreneurs in attaining their business vision and objectives, positioning organizations for rapid growth, market leadership, and financial success. His energetic, ‘hands-on’ approach and rare ability to focus on each client’s strategic and specific needs has helped him become one of the leading business advisors in New England.

Davis works with each client on a personal basis and utilizes his diverse background and breadth of skills to achieve market success. His firm has helped more than 700 owners and entrepreneurial leaders of emerging and transitioning firms define and attain their vision and goals, and ultimately achieve their financial expectations. His expertise includes defining effective strategies, building strong organizational support, developing talented leadership, and implementing marketing and business plans. Davis provides valuable counsel to leaders who require objective analysis and sound advice to overcome the complex challenges this constantly changing world creates.

 As part of his interest in assisting emerging and transitioning organizations, Davis sits on several private and non-profit company boards, providing strategic and growth strategies. He currently serves as Chairman of the Board for the Jewish National Fund and as Executive Director for the Family Business Association. Additionally, Davis is an internationally sought-after speaker and writer, regularly called upon by the media as a resource on strategy and managing the challenges faced by entrepreneurs trying to succeed in today’s shifting economy. Davis also hosts Radio Entrepreneurs, a business talk radio show sharing the success of entrepreneurship. Davis has also served as a columnist for the Boston Business Journal on issues faced by small businesses and has written a book on entrepreneurs: The 24-hour Turnaround.

Before founding Mage, Davis established his reputation as an entrepreneurial strategist, organizational change agent, and marketing and sales expert working for well-known international organizations and clients, including Johnson & Johnson (Ethicon), Avis and Quaker Oats.

Davis did his undergraduate work at Concordia University in Montreal, where he majored in psychology and minored in commerce. He pursued graduate studies in marketing, with a minor in human resource development, at the University of Ottawa. He currently lives in Newton, Massachusetts with his wife Sandy, his children, Michael and Rachel and his beloved dog, Spencer.
