My practice has always found its roots in litigation of all kinds, whether representing individuals, families or businesses, both in the courtroom and out. In addtion to my background as a business litigator, I am perhaps best known for my education law practice where I focus on helping families navigate their child’s education, particularly in the special education space. I have represented students and their families in securing Individualized Education Programs (IEP) and 504 plans for their children while seeking to ensure compliance and effective progress. I can also help when absence from school becomes necessary due to an extended evaluation, out-of-district placement in a more therapeutic environment, home and hospital services, disciplinary matters and bullying and harassment cases.
