Robert Glazer is the founder and CEO of global performance marketing agency, Acceleration Partners and the co-founder and Chairman of BrandCycle. Bob Glazer returns to our show to discuss the release of his new book, Elevate, ELEVATE: Push Beyond Your Limits and Unlock Success in Yourself and Others was inspired by the lessons of Friday Forward, my inspirational newsletter that reaches 100,000 people each week. The book is about how to grow capacity as both an individual and a leader through the four elements of capacity building, Spiritual, Intellectual, Physical and Emotional. Elevate has been endorsed by Adam Grant, Dan Pink, Marshall Goldsmith, Kim Scott and Hal Elrod and Forbes has already named Elevate among “the best books every CEO should read”. This book is a deeply personal project for me—I see it as an opportunity to help people who want to improve themselves but aren’t sure where to start. In that vein, a portion of the proceeds of the book go to an amazing nonprofit called BUILD, which is using entrepreneurship as a hook to help kids from at-risk high schools graduate by creating real world context for their learning.
